Easter Sunday!

He is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! πŸ™Œ

Welcome to a new day. It is the day following Saturday, but it is also a day to commemorate the new beginning Jesus has offered us. Today’s message is short, as I am sure most of you are enjoying your eggs of the chicken kind or the chocolate kind.

The sacrifice given on our behalf is to be remembered. We, as God designed, have free will. We have been given the opportunity to accept the offer or not. I have chosen to accept it. I am not the type to go out and minister and bring in the sheep, so there is no fear of conversion from this place.

I will be honest, I am not going to church today, not because I’ve had two days of it, but because Richard and I will be driving three hours home. One does not have to go to church to celebrate the new life given to us. I am remembering it right now. Whether you use today as a celebration of the risen Lord in church or private devotion, or as a day of family gathering, please remember this is a day of love.

And coloured eggs! 🐣 image (This is after breakfast. There were twelve, but you get the idea.)
